Our Practice is Now Fully Bulk Billing!
Our practice is fully bulk billed for all GP consultation for all Medicare card holders. This means no out-of-pocket cost for your regular GP visits , simply bring your valid Medicare card.
Please note
Procedure items (such as surgical procedures and certain treatments) are not included in the Medicare bulk billing requirement. These items will still attract a gap fee, which helps cover the cost of medical supplies and equipment used during your procedure. Our team will always inform you in advance if a gap applies. We’re committed to providing accessible, high-quality care to our community.

BULK BILLING & FEES
All consultation is fully bulk billed for all Medicare card holders.

- There are some types of consultations that are not eligible for Medicare rebate. They will be privately billed. A few examples are
- Pre employment or employment related consultations/medicals
- Recreational related consultations such as diving medicals
- Completion of some forms and documents

AFTER HOURS
- Family Med Medical Centre is open 7 days (please check current opening hours on home page)
- During the hours when we are not available, please call 137425 for after hour home doctor service or call 000 for emergencies
INTERPRETER SERVICE
Family Med Medical Centre uses the Telephone Interpreter Service. Please kindly let our helpful receptionist know in advance.
WALK-IN APPOINTMENT
Walk-ins are welcome. Please be aware you may not get a chance to see your regular GP and waiting time may vary.
PATIENT FEEDBACK
Our practice encourages both positive and negative feedback from our patients. If you have a suggestion or complaint please do not hesitate to contact via admin@fmmedical.com.au. Written feedback can be hand delivered or posted. We will respond to any grievances or suggestions promptly.
DATA BREACH POLICY
We try our best to prevent the data Breach with the advice of our IT team. If a data breach unfortunately occured, we will notify patients affected within the accepted time frame and also the office of the Australian information Commissioner (OAIC).
